| What is a Shoutbox?
A shoutbox is a semi-live comments feed for registered members - aka Tag Board, aka Chatter Block. It is perfect for chitchatting, saying hello to friends and leaving short 2 or 3 sentence administrative messages, without the need to start or reply to a serious forum thread. But unlike forums or comments, messages sent to the shoutbox are temporary. You only see the last 15 messages and older messages are periodically deleted to save space.
Shoutbox is currently restricted to registered members only and can be found on the left hand side of the web page (currently, registered user's must be logged in to see the shoutbox). Future releases of the product may allow us to make the shoutbox public and restrict posting to registered members only.
