The Dragonboat Idol Dusts off The Mic!!! - 2006/11/13 18:07
Hi ACCAlytes,
It's that time of the year again, where it seems I'm perpetually in the Grand Final for this contest. For those that don't know, one of your crewmates doubles as a crooner in his very limited spare time, & as such I invite everyone to come watch & cheer me on as I battle it out for prize money at the following venue:
Friday 17th November 8pm - CHATSWOOD RSL Talent Quest Grand Final -1 Thomas Street CHATSWOOD 2067
The first prize is worth $1500, part of prize pool of $3500. No male has won this contest for several years, so I'll be looking for your support to break the drought for XY chromosomed entertainers at this event. I would appreciate any support I can get, as it can be difficult singing to a partisan audience, so any crowd stacking is helpful, & even encouraged!!!
If you are coming, it would be advised that you start rocking up about 8.00pm as seats have been known to fill quickly!!!
