To all those ACCA team mates who paddled the 2 ks tonight, let me just say - AWESOME. I was feeling a bit dissapointed that we didn't have a full crew going into the race and felt proud that at end, with only 16 paddlers, it felt strong, committed and like the ACCA of old. Congratulations to all the team a fantastic effort. That last leg guys, just felt so powerful!
Magoo wasn't there to witness it, but hey, congratulations to Keg, mate you did a fantastic job, and I think inspired us all to go that bit harder, to even forget the fact that it wasn't a full boat!
I hope everyone felt the same as I did, it was an extremely motivating way to start the season! Well done team, a pleasure paddling with everyone of you tonight! It was also great to see the return appearance of out ACCA Masters sweep Evan!
