DBNSW Season debrief/2007 preparations - 2006/05/04 11:11 FYI... the following information has been posted on the DBNSW forum:

This is an annual discussion forum where delegates from clubs will come along and discuss the past season and improvements for the next. Anyone is welcome, and it has traditionally been an excellent and productive day for all.

If you care about your sport, come along and make a difference!

Everyone is welcome, don't hesitate, rsvp to Tanya (registrar@dragonboatsnsw.org.au) by Wed the 10th May.

Topics scheduled for discussion include Administration / Events / development activities / Racing / Boats & Equipment

With the sport growing as fast as it is we need your help to continue to develop professionally... come along and be involved!

Date: Saturday 13th May 2006
Time: 10am - 2pm
Venue: 7 Underwood Rd , Homebush
Lunch will be provided!

Re:DBNSW Season debrief/2007 preparations - 2006/05/04 12:27 Definitely, please voice any concerns you have through out the season which DBNSW should look into.

I know one thing I like to raise is the handling of ID Tags.
Most of the time the volunteers at Marshalling don't even check it.
And it creates a hassle to have it around your neck during race days.

So propose that if ID Tags are required, then make sure Marshalls do check it everytime.

Also, what is the difference between checking ID Tags and race tags during any regatta racing? If same, then why not go back to the old system of race tag checking.

All this ID Tag just creates more administrative work.

My 2 cents for myself to remember before the briefing
