Easter Fish Feast!

Australian National Championships 2009 Results
Congratulations to the ACCA National Championships team that went up to compete in Queenland for the 2009 Australian National Championships.
ACCA came back coming top 10 in Australia for the 500m Mixed crew event and top 4 in the 200m Mixed crew event.
What an awesome result from punching above our weight to paddle through the waters and racing against top teams in Australia.

The 2008/09 dragon boat racing competitive season has now passed following the Australian National Champsionships. ACCA is now taking a well earned break before commencing our off season maintenance training at the end of May.
So if you have ever wanted to try out the sport or even wanted to try out something new? Why not register your interest for our off season training. Send us an email. We welcome anyone with any level of fitness or dragon boat racing experience to give us a try. While you are thinking about it, why not
get a friend to come along as well? The great thing about this sport
is, that we all work as a team, to paddle as one and the more paddlers
there are, the merrier we get.
Off season training is a great way to learn the dragon boat paddling technique, improve your fitness level and getting to know your new friends.
ACCA invites you to join us, learn a new sport and meeting new friends! No prior paddling experience is necessary!

Off Season Training will be held every Sunday at 8:30am for water training, commencing from end of May 2009. (Exact date to be announced, so check back soon) These sessions are designed to fine tune parts of your paddling stroke; to develop endurance and coordination. To keep you fit during winter. To come out of hibernation ready for the next season of racing without losing your style.
